Understanding the Individual Education Plan (IEP) Process
Families learn their rights to request an evaluation of their child for an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) and the process.
Families will understand the steps involved with creating a child’s IEP.
Parents and guardians will learn how to effectively advocate to the child’s teachers, school and CSE (Committee on Special Education) in order to start the IEP process.
